M A L A M . . .
|
|
Malam
Bila rinduku bertambah dalam
Kau datang lagi dengan kenangan
Oh betapa dinginnya malam ini
Kasih
Bila malam ku bertambah kelam
Seribu kisah melintas mata
Dan malam ini sungguh mencengkam
Bila malam
Tiap kali ku pandang semalam
Resahku sering menjadi dendam
Oh hatimu ku rasakan dingin
Dan malam adalah masa yang membawa kesan
Pada diriku yang kesepian
Kini ku tenggelam di bawah alunan ombak malam
Oh malam
Dan malam
Hingga dikau datang dan bicara
Dan datanglah pada hamba
Mengapa dia pergi membawa hati ini
Oh mengapa
Oh malam

Shooting the Skylights of KL.
|
|
My initial plan today was to shoot the Shah Alam Mosque during the sunset. However, after analysing the skies and the sunlight for the whole day, I concluded that it will not give me the sunset I was looking for.
Therefore, I had to come up with a Plan B. What was Plan B? I decided to head down to KL (which is a place I rarely go due to the traffic) to shoot the skylight during twillight hours. All these images were taken at the rooftop of Dynasty Hotel in Jalan Ipoh. My one and only problem while shooting these images was the unavailability of space for me to compose the images properly. I had to shoot these images in between window stills. Therefore, I could not use my normal standard lens as it will include the window stills in the composition. I had to switch to the longer end of the my telephoto lens to ensure a succesful shot.
All these images was taken using the Canon EOS 5D with the 70 - 200 mm. IS f.2.8 (L) lens. Aperture Priority (Av) mode was selected for all shots. I had chosen an aperture of f.11 which gave me a shutter speed between 15 to 20 seconds. Evaluative metering was used and the "Standard" Picture Style was selected. I selected the Daylight WB to reduce the yellow cast in the shots. The EOS 5D was on top of the Manfrotto 075 B tripod. I also used the Automatic Exposure Bracketing of 1/2 stops to guarantee perfect exposures. The shutter was fired using the self-timer in conjuction with the mirror lock-up function.

The Perfect Couple?
|
|
Terbangkitnya kembali
Seluruh semangat naluriku
Semuanya kernamu di sisi
Telah pun ditakdirkan
Dirimu diriku ditemukan
Dalam satu cinta
Tersungkur berkurun
Aku menjadi musafir sepi
Dalam gurun rindu
Yang tidak ada titis akhirnya
Hingga tibanya hadir dirimu
Membawa sinaran dan keyakinan hati
Membawa sinaran yang semakin kelam
Ditelan kepalsuan...

Since I do not have any new image to upload, I have created another photo montage of Aileen Sofia. Actually, it's not that I do not want to upload any new images... I am just waiting to see Ruwaida's pics and I will go immediately to the place and shoot...
Ruwaida, from now on you need to be prepared . . . I am sleeping with the 5D by my side.

Ecah . . . (again)!
|
|
This photo montage was done at the request of my friend who used to work with me in PJTFC. To anybody who is interested to have their pics in my FP, just send me an email together with a high resolution (the higher the resolution, the better) pics in JPEG. I will try to create a montage to the best of my abilities in photoshop. If ladies, I prefer close-up shots i.e. u should not be too small in the frame as I will be doing a lot of cropping and adjusting. To the guys, don't bother to send as i will not have the same inspiration while editing ur images . . .
To Ecah,
I hope u like this pics . . . kalau nak hardcopy tu, biase lee, kene beli beb..

Where Do I Begin . . .
|
|
Where do I begin
To tell the story of how great a love can be
The sweet love story that is older than the sea
The simple truth about the love she brings to me
Where do I start
With her first hello
She gave new meaning to this empty world of mine
Therell never be another love, another time
She came into my life and made the living fine
She fills my heart
She fills my heart with very special things
With angels songs , with wild imaginings
She fills my soul with so much love
That everywhere I go Im never lonely
With you my love, who could be lonely
I reach for her hand-its always there
How long does it last
Can love be measured by the hours in a day
I have no answers now but this much I can say
I know Ill need her till the stars all burn away
And shell be there

First Attempt - Macro Photography.
|
|
This is my first attempt at macro photography, having never tried this type of photography before. I think my efforts can be summed up in two words; IT STINKS!!!
I do not think that I can make it as a macro photographer, therefore, I think that I will stick to my landscape shots (not that i can make a living out of this either).
